Porcelain Veneers in Tribeca, NYC
Porcelain veneers in Tribeca, shaped by Dr. Patricia Moezinia around your face, your lips and the smile you already have.
Porcelain veneers are thin ceramic shells bonded to the front of your teeth. They can soften chips, close small gaps, even out worn edges and cover stains that whitening can’t lift. Done well, they look like your own teeth on a very good day. Most patients come to us after years of hiding one or two teeth in photos.
Dr. Moezinia starts with how you smile and speak, then designs each veneer for its shape, length and translucency. Many cases need only a light polish of enamel, often a fraction of a millimeter, and some can be done with minimal prep. You can fix one tooth or several. The number depends on how wide your smile is and what you want to change.

What to expect
- 01
Complimentary consult
We talk about what bothers you and what you love. Dr. Moezinia studies your face, lips and bite, takes photos and an iTero 3D scan, and tells you honestly whether veneers are the right tool.
- 02
Smile design and preview
Your new tooth shapes are planned digitally and with a wax-up, so you can see and react to the proposed look before any tooth is touched.
- 03
Preparation and temporaries
The teeth are gently prepared, usually by about 0.3 to 0.7 mm, and scanned for the lab. You leave in temporaries that let you test the shape in daily life.
- 04
Bonding day
Dr. Moezinia checks fit, color and length with you, then bonds each veneer and refines your bite. A follow-up visit makes sure everything feels right.
Why Empower Your Smile
A trained eye, built over decades
Dr. Moezinia was born in Paris, earned her DDS at Columbia University and a doctorate at the University of Paris, and completed NYU’s program in comprehensive aesthetic dentistry. She has cared for smiles in Tribeca for more than 30 years.
Your face leads the design
She listens first and never imposes a look. Veneers are shaped to your features and personality, so friends notice you look well rather than noticing your teeth.
A free first conversation
Your veneer consultation is complimentary, with photos and a 3D scan. Financing through CareCredit is available if you want to spread the cost.
Veneers vs. bonding, and what they cost
Bonding uses tooth-colored resin sculpted in one visit. It suits small chips and gaps, costs less and keeps more enamel, but it can stain and chip over time. Porcelain is made by a lab, resists stains well and can last 10 to 15 years or more with good care. Many patients use bonding for one tooth and veneers when several teeth need a change.
Veneer cost depends on how many teeth are treated, the material and the complexity of your case, so we review it with you at the consult. Insurance rarely covers cosmetic veneers. CareCredit financing can help you plan.

How many veneers do I need?
It depends on how many teeth show when you smile and what you want to change. Some people need one or two to fix a single chipped or dark tooth. A fuller change usually covers the six to ten upper teeth that show most. Dr. Moezinia will show you what each option looks like at your consult.
Do veneers ruin your natural teeth?
Traditional veneers remove a thin layer of enamel, typically about 0.3 to 0.7 mm, so the change is permanent. Some cases can be done with minimal or no prep. Your teeth stay underneath and still need brushing, flossing and checkups.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With good care, porcelain veneers often last 10 to 15 years or longer. Grinding, nail biting and using your teeth as tools shorten their life, so we may suggest a night guard. Results vary from person to person.
Will my veneers look fake?
They shouldn’t. Natural-looking veneers vary slightly in shape and translucency, the way real teeth do. You see a preview and wear temporaries first, so you can ask for changes before anything is final.
Can I whiten my teeth before getting veneers?
Yes, and it’s often a good idea. Porcelain doesn’t change color with whitening, so we usually whiten first and then match the veneers to your brighter shade.
